1.WHAT IS THE PIXIE CUT WIG?
Pixie cut wigs is a hair style with a sense of design, the overall shape is more capable and sharp, so that people have a kind of heroic image. The hair is very short at the sides and back of the head, but long at the nape and top of the head, with a natural hairline and some baby hair. The main types of lace in this wig are lace front wigs, closure wig,and T Part Lace Frontal Wigs.
2. HOW TO STYLE YOUR PIXIE CUT WIG?
Styling a pixie cut wig is straightforward if you know the right tips.Secure it with your usual glue, then gently heat it with a hair dryer. This will melt the lace and help it blend in well with your skin.
After gluing the wig, if it is curly, apply water all over the pixie cut wig to mist it.Then apply the mousse that holds the hair in place. If it is straight hair wigs, you can apply heat protectant, use a heated comb to smooth the hair, and then shape the hair according to your desired effect.
If you're styling your wig at home, you can simply put it on your head. This will make the shape more fit your head circumference, but also will be very intuitive to show the effect of the shape.
3. HOW TO CARE FOR PIXIE CUT WIG?
Wash the pixie cut lace front wig with a mild but good quality shampoo. Air-dry the wig.
Reduce the excessive use of heating modeling tools, excessive heating will accelerate the loss of hair moisture, hair will lose glossiness and soft feel more quickly.
Keep the wig away from harsh weather conditions. When you spend a lot of time outside in extreme weather when it's really hot or really cold, you need to wear a scarf or hat to protect your hair a little bit. Wigs with bright colors should be stored in a cool, dark place that does not receive direct sunlight so that the colors will last longer.
4. STEPS TO DYE BLACK HAIR GINGER:
Nature Black lace front pixie cut wig can be dyed color via two methods: without bleach and with bleach. Let's see them one by one.
4.1 DYE BLACK HAIR GINGER WITHOUT BLEACH:
COLLECT THE PRODUCTS:
To dye your natural black hair into colored hair, you will need to prepare your hair with a preparation, such as hair dye and coloring agent. Hair colorant recommends big brand quite, for example the HiColor HiLights series of L 'Oreal. For color developers, more youtubers on YouTube use the 40-Volume Developer.
MIX AND STIR HAIR DYE:
This method is very simple to use. Just mix the L 'Oreal HiColor and 40-Volume in a bowl and start mixing with a brush. Stir until the consistency is not too runny or thick.
If the mixture finishes, use another L'OREAL HiColor tube. Maximum 3 tubes will be used on a 24-inch wig.
APPLY IT ON HAIR:
First, the wig was placed on the mannequin's head. Hold the top section of hair with a bobby pin, taking a small section at a time and soaking the dye mixture completely.
Always wear gloves and place a plastic sheet or scrap newspaper around the floor. Because the dye is more easily contaminated to other places, not easy to handle. So take precautions in advance.
When applying the dye near the roots, be very careful not to apply it to the lace. Because when the colored dye stains the lace, it will not be transparent, which will affect the wearing effect, and the effect of skin fusion will also be greatly affected. But my mom also made sure every hair was colored.
PUT WIG IN A PLASTIC PACK:
After applying the mixture in a wig completely, put the wig in a plastic bag in a specific manner, not just in a throwing manner, for at least 30 minutes.
RINSE THEN WASH THE WIG:
After the dye mixture has been completely applied to the wig, place the wig in a plastic bag and let it sit for at least 30 minutes. The plastic bag will act as a thermostat and speed up the effect of the hair dye.
To clean the dye from the wig surface:
Finally, take the wig out and wash off all the color. Then wash and condition it just like you would any other wig. But remember, it doesn't need much shampoo. It is recommended to use shampoo and conditioner with color fixing effect.
4.2 USE BLEACH TO DYE NATURE BLACK HAIR INTO COLORED HAIR :
The use of bleaching to turn naturally black hair into colored hair is also called watercolor method.
CREATE MIXTURE:
You need bleach, i.e., L'OREAL Quick Blue or any other, and any 30-volume developer like Salon Care.
APPLY MIXTURE:
To fade and vanish out the black color of the wig, apply the mixture completely on the wig by taking smaller sections. No need to use clips and start from the hair that will be on the nape of the neck. You can also apply this bleach mixture to the wig roots because, this way, you will not need to bleach the knots later.
WRAP IT AND THEN RINSE IT:
Wrap the wig with aluminum foil and place it for a period of time (the length of time depends on the state of the hair. It is suggested to be divided into sections and open it to observe the hair color every once in a while). After rinsing, the wig may look a little brassy, but it's good for coloring.
PREPARE WATERCOLOR:
Pour at least 2 bottles of Ador 56 and 58 in boiling water. Spray got2b glue all over the lace or apply vaseline on it to avoid hair color staining the lace.
Submerge the wig in the prepared watercolor for a few minutes.
AIR-DRY THE WIG:
Take the wig out and air dry. No need to shampoo it.
